A COVENTRY based pub is welcoming customers back following an extensive three week refurbishment.
The Nugget is boasting a brighter, new modern look, with a refreshed bar, new soft furnishings and an enhanced dining area.
The pub also has a new food menu that includes Laying it on Chick Burger, Tandoori Chicken sizzling skillet and Giant Gyros.
The Nugget also has a brand-new drinks menu with classic cocktails and craft beers.
General manager, Charles Freeman, said: “We’re thrilled to reveal The Nugget’s new look to our guests. Whether you’re looking for a family meal out or somewhere to enjoy the sport with a pint, our pub is ready to welcome guests, both new and old, to enjoy our brand-new look — but with the same sizzle we’ve always had.”
The Nugget hosts a quiz every Wednesday night from 8pm and a rock and roll themed bingo every Thursday night from 8.30pm.
On the last Friday of the month there is a karaoke night from 9pm.
The pub has a Sky Blues themed sports bar in tribute to the longstanding ties to the club, it was known as The Sky Blue Tavern when the pub was leased by Coventry City in the sixties.
