KIND-hearted staff at Coventry firm the Wigley group reached new heights as they braved a trek up Mount Snowdon to raise vital cash for Zoe’s Place baby hospice.
Staff and their family members trekked 18 miles to and from the summit of Wales’s highest mountain, raising £1,670 for the city charity.
Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice provides palliative and respite care for babies and children up to five years old with a range of life limiting, life threatening or complex conditions.
Finance Manager Alexis Considine, who was part of a team of 12 who took part, said: “I enjoyed the challenge, the rain was really heavy at some points, but we all supported each other every step of the way and it was a great effort from everybody involved.
“Although it was difficult weather conditions, knowing we were doing this for such a worthwhile cause which supports so many children with life-limiting illnesses – and their parents – really drove us on. We hope the money raised helps to make a difference.”
