COVENTRY City Council has partnered with E.ON Next for the annual Godiva Festival.
Based in Coventry for nearly 30 years, E.ON has entered a 15 year partnership with Coventry City Council to benefit people in the city with its energy use.
This year will be the 25th year the Council hosts the event which is taking place in War Memorial Park on July 5 – 7.
The festival received the Greener Festival Improvers Certificate and is the only UK festival that was nominated for the ‘Greener Transport Award’ both by A Greener Future.
The new partnership will contribute to its sustainability and growth as well as enhance the festival.

This years festival is set to be headlined by former frontman of The Verve, Richard Ashcroft, pop sensation Paloma Faith and the legendary West Midlands star Beverley Knight.
