BRITISH grime icon Dizzee Rascal will be the ‘Boy in Da Corner’ at Coventry’s HMV Empire next month for a show celebrating the launch of his latest album.
The ‘Dance Wiv Me’ rapper will be coming to the venue on Wednesday, February 14, just days after the release of his latest album ‘Don’t Take It Personal.’
Dizzee helped to pioneer the grime genre with his 2003 debut album ‘Boy in Da Corner’, which featured hits such as ‘Fix Up Look Sharp’ and ‘I Luv U’.
Three albums later in 2010, he was named Best British Male at the 30th annual Brit Awards.
The event will start at 8pm, with doors opening an hour before.
