Coventry Editorial 2nd Jan, 2024   0

DATES have been revealed for this year’s 25th-anniversary edition of Coventry’s Godiva Festival.

The popular annual event is set to be held between Friday and Sunday, July 5 and 7 at the city’s War Memorial Park.

Tickets are set to go on sale in March with details about the star-studded lineup expected over the coming months.

Past line-ups have featured performances from big-name artists such as Rudimental, Ella Eyre, Tom Grennan and The Enemy as well as local legends including 2-Tone icons The Selecter.

Over 70,000 tickets were sold for last year’s event, which also featured Imagineer’s Giant Godiva puppet for the first time.

Coventry City Council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for events, Coun Abdul Salam Khan said: “The city has a deep connection with the event and reaching the 25th Godiva Festival is a huge milestone for Coventry.

“We will bring something for all ages and music tastes once again in 2024.

“We want our 25th Godiva Festival to be a truly unforgettable event.

“We also recognise the financial pressures faced by our attendees and we are mindful of the need for an affordable yet spectacular event.”
