Coventry Editorial 13th Feb, 2024   0

DRUGS have been recovered in Coventry after police executed a pair of city warrants.

Officers took part in warrants in Tile Hill, acting on intelligence around drug use.

The warrants took place on Donegal Close and Founder Close, with police supported by dog unit officers and a drone team.

Searches were carried out at both addresses and some cannabis and a bag of edibles were recovered.

However, no arrests were made during the warrants.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We are continuing to take action against drug dealing and organised crime in Coventry, with our teams regularly carrying out warrants and acting on information and intel from the community.

“This type of crime can have a devastating effect on the areas it takes place in, with risks to the community and wider city.”
