Kind-hearted Coventry youngsters get creative for charity

Coventry Editorial 14th Apr, 2024   0

KIND-hearted Coventry College youngsters have gotten creative to raise vital funds for The Brit Challenge charity.

The students organised a series of events showcasing their talents and skills, including hair and beauty treatments, dance lessons, construction projects, and cash prize games.

The fundraising efforts included students from the Hair and Beauty department offering a range of treatments to customers, with all proceeds going to The Brit Challenge.

Meanwhile, the Performing Arts Department youngsters took centre stage by offering dance lessons including jazz and combo styles to those who wanted to groove for a good cause.

A construction student took on the task of building a mindfulness bench to be installed on campus.

The College also organised a unique balloon pop activity, with a hundred balloons filled with cash prizes.

And art students created a collection of artwork inspired by themes of resilience, hope, and healing, which will be placed around the college.

The Brit Challenge is a charity dedicated to empowering young people through adventure, education, and mentoring programs.
