KIND-hearted Coventry youngsters have organised a fundraiser to raise vital cash for a local charity which helps children with terminal or life-threatening illnesses.
Through a series of games and competitions, students from Coventry College rallied together to raise £592.73 for Molly Ollys.
The fundraiser, held on the college campus, saw students divided into groups, each tasked with creating innovative and entertaining activities to raise cash for the charity.
The event saw students running activities including raffles and table tennis tournaments.
Molly Ollys aims to help children with terminal or life-threatening illnesses, providing practical and emotional support to families and offering services such as therapeutic toys, books, and support packs.
Rachel Ollenshaw, who runs Molly Ollys, said: “Earlier in the year I visited the students and spent time explaining the work of the Charity, helping with fundraising ideas and tips and hopefully it helped inspire.
“The event had a real buzz and there was a good variety of different stalls to widen the appeal and help get more engagement.
“We enjoyed the morning and Molly Ollys are very grateful to all the teachers and pupils who made the event such a great success and helped raise both funds and awareness.”
