COVENTRY CITY COUNCIL is hosting its largest School Apprenticeship Fair on Tuesday.
There will be 275 students from Coventry Schools meeting numerous employers and training providers.
Prospects commissioned by the council will provide support to 16-18 year olds who are currently not enrolled in school to attend the fair.
The event is taking place at Coventry Rugby Club and is part of National Apprenticeship Week.
It has been organised in partnership with, The Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, Careers and Enterprise Company, CW Chamber Training, Think Higher and WMCA.
Coun Dr Kindy Sandhu, Cabinet Member for Education and Skills at Coventry City Council said: “It is wonderful that so many young people in Coventry have this fantastic opportunity to learn more about apprenticeships that are available locally.
“The diverse range of options on offer will help to support the development of aspirations and provide practical routes from school to long-term apprenticeship career pathways.”
There will be a range of hands-on activities and career talks, providing those who attend with relevant, engaging and meaningful experiences.
