A MAN has been arrested following a Christmas Day knife point robbery in Coventry.
The 39-year-old man is in custody after he was arrested on suspicion of robbery on January 14.
This comes after a man was robbed at knifepoint in a car on Vauxhall Street on Christmas Day.
Coventry Police are carrying out regular patrols amid a spike in robbery and theft during the darker winter nights.
Disruption work is also being conducted aimed at arresting those suspected of robbery.
Police said robbers are targeting mobile phones, bags, and car keys and urged people to stay alert.
