Man charged after car knocked three people down in Coventry

A MAN HAS been charged after three people were knocked down and injured by a car in Coventry.

West Midlands Police were called to Coronation Road, Hillsfield, just after 1.10am on Sunday (June, 23).

The car hit two women and one man and then the driver fled the scene.

The victims were not seriously injured.

Patrik Pohlodko, from Coventry, has now been charged with two counts of wounding and an attempt to cause grevious bodily harm.

He was remanded to appear before Coventry Magistrates Court today.
