A MAN has been charged with burglary offences after break-ins were reported in Coventry city centre.
Coventry police were alerted to an intruder in the centre off Smithford Way and a jeweller’s and bureau de change being smashed into during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Officers attended and identified a suspect, who was arrested on nearby Radford Road a short time later.
Conor Mulqueen, aged 32 from Warwickshire, has now been charged with burglary offences.
He was remanded to appear before Coventry Magistrates Court today (Wednesday).
