DISCOUNT retailer B&M has opened a new store in Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centre.
The new store has created over 35 jobs for local people.
Coventry Foodbank Charity were chosen to officially unveil the new B&M store.
Colleagues chose the charity after being asked to nominate a charity who they think deserve some ‘VIP treatment’ for the work they do for the local community.
In addition to opening the store, the charity will receive B&M vouchers worth £250 to help the charity continue their work.
The store manager, said: “It was really exciting to welcome customers through the doors; the feedback so far has been fantastic.”
“A big thank you to the team at the Coventry Foodbank who helped us open the store; we hope that our donation can help them to continue to do the great work they do.”
