COVENTRY firms will now have access to several new grant funding support programmes.
The grant programmes have been set up after Coventry City Council lodged a successful bid for cash from the Government’s Shared Prosperity fund.
This new package of support replaces the Green Business and Business Support Programmes that were funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can apply for general business grants worth between £2,500 and £25,000 which can be used for everything from expansion to staffing costs.
The Decarbonisation Net Zero Programme will offer businesses the chance to apply for grants between £1,000 and £100,000 to help them achieve green aims.
And council officers will be on hand to support the SMEs on topics such as growth strategies, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
