Nuneaton's Poundland will undergo revamp in coming weeks

Coventry Editorial 29th Mar, 2024   0

POUNDLAND store in Nuneaton has announced it is having a brand new look as 150 stores across the UK and Ireland undergo a revap.

Dubbed ‘Project Evo’, the transformations will see top to bottom renovations of each store, from a change of layouts to the introduction of new product ranges.

This marks the first substantial investment in these stores in over five years.

In coming weeks the Coventry based store will undergo the refurbishment.

Each store’s makeover will vary but will ultimately aim to provide an upgraded shopping environment with modernized signage, flooring, and lighting.

The revamped stores will boast an expanded range of offerings, including chilled and frozen foods, the latest clothing, and homewares ranges powered by Poundland’s parent company, Pepco.

All stores will offer more baby and kids clothing after the revamp.

Alan Smallman, Poundland’s director of property services, said: “Project Evo represents a significant investment in a substantial number of stores to make them brilliant places to shop and work.

“We’re now embarking on a programme that will show off those ranges in a modern and bright environment that’s easy to shop, navigate and checkout.”

This programme follows Poundland’s recent announcement of a complete overhaul of its general merchandise ranges, introducing 2,000 new lines across all its 850-plus stores in the UK and Ireland.
