MORE than 400 cannabis plants were seized in Coventry on Valentine’s Day.
Officers carried out a warrant at a business premises on Lockhurst Lane on Wednesday morning where they found an extensive cannabis grow.
The electricity had been illegally bypassed inside, allowing for the huge amounts of power required to light and heat the growing rooms.
More than 400 plants were found in several growing rooms along with a knife.
Makeshift living quarters had been set up in one of the rooms.
National Grid engineers have made the premises safe and officers have seized the cannabis and gathered intelligence.
