THE DEVELOPMENT of a 196-studio student accommodation block in Coventry has been given the green light.
Finance lender Atelier has announced it has given the £26.2million gross loan needed for Torsion Group to build the student accommodation, which will be a 15-minute walk from the main University of Warwick campus.
The accommodation is set to have gym and cinema facilities as well as a rooftop terrace for the 196 studios.
The development is set to be complete for the academic intake of September 2025.
