COVENTRIANS will have the chance to explore some weird and wonderful inventions in March when Robot Day returns to the city.
World-leading innovators are heading to Coventry to inspire young people into the world of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
Robotic creations, hands-on exhibits and workshops will be part of the free event, which will take place on March 16 at Coventry College.
With more than 750 people attending last year’s Robot Day, organisers are hoping volunteers from industry will work alongside Coventry College students for the 2024 event.
The event is supported by the Institute of Engineering and Technology and Imagineering Foundation.
PHD student, Stephan said that he is looking forward to the day returning to Coventry College to showcase the values of robotics.
He added: “The event will bring together expertise from across the UK to increase public participation, promote diversity and inclusion in STEAM and address the skills shortage in the sector.”
