Sky Blues fans heading to Wembley by train recommended to plan ahead

SKY BLUES fans heading to Wembley Emirates FA Cup Semi Final by train.

There are two trains down to London for Sunday’s game.

Avanti West Coast and West Midlands Train’s run from Coventry, Nuneaton and Rugby to London Euston – which is around 40 minutes away from Wembley via the Underground Metropolitan Line.

Chiltern Railways run from Warwick Parkway and Leamington Spa to Wembley Stadium and London Marylebone.

Avanti have provided an additional train from Coventry on the morning of the game, West Midlands have two additional trains from Coventry and Chiltern have five additional services from Warwick Parkway and Leamington Spa.

Over 25 service will leave the West Midlands making way to London on the morning of the game and a similar amount post match.




Railway stations will have a queuing system in place – as Manchester United and Liverpool supporters will also be travelling back there will be designated platforms for each set of fans.

Fans are recommended to book tickets in advance and reserve a seat.


The train time is less than 90 minutes so fans can book a later train to avoid queues.

The last train back to Coventry is the 11.24pm Avanti West Coast from London Euston.
