Spate of thefts and break-ins in Westwood

WESTWOOD Police have told residents to be on their guard after a spate of recent thefts and break-ins.

A burglary was reported on Gravel Hill, while a garage was broken into on Milrose Way.

Two thefts from motor vehicles have also been reported on Glebe Close and Brambling Avenue.

A Westwood, Woodlands, Wainbody and Whoberley LPA spokesperson said all of these incidents are being investigated.

Officers have found and recovered a stolen vehicle on Wansfell Close, while neighbourhood officers have conducted community street watches around Nailcote Avenue and Westwood Heath.
