THE YARD and Glamorous Coventry announced their successful fundraising efforts, having raised a total of £600 for CW Mind during Mental Health Awareness Week.

Through a series of collaborative pop-up events, special blue food and drink promotions, and generous donations from both venues and their customers, this joint scheme has significantly contributed to supporting mental health programmes in the local community.

Richard Easter, owner of The Yard Coventry, and Martin Parsonage, general manager of Glamorous Coventry, released a joint statement.

“We are incredibly proud and delighted to have worked together for the betterment of the LGBT+ community, CW Mind, and Mental Health Awareness Week.

“Our combined efforts have raised £600, which will go towards supporting vital mental health initiatives.

“The overwhelming support from our customers and the dedication of our staff have been truly heartwarming.

“By coming together for this important cause, we have not only raised funds but also heightened awareness around mental health issues. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this initiative a success.”

Dee Hodgson, Peer Support Team Leader at CW Mind said all the money raised will go directly to Safe Haven, the crisis de-escalation service which is available from 6pm-11pm seven days a week.
