Three arrested after Coventry collision left 12-year-old injured

POLICE have arrested three people following a collision in which a 12-year-old boy was injured in Coventry, last month.

The three men, aged 56, 19 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop after an accident.

They have been interviewed by investigators and released on bail with strict conditions while enquiries continue.

The collision happened on Cambridge Street at around 11.45am on August 30.

Police said their investigation to establish exactly what happened was on-going.

The boy, who was treated at the scene and later at hospital, is now recovering at home.




The boys family have been updated on the investigation.
