Three arrested and two seriously injured after Coventry disorder

TWO people have been seriously injured following disorder in Coventry yesterday (February 10).

Officers were called to Honeysuckle Drive at 4pm to the reports.

A 19-year-old man was found with serious injuries and he was taken to hospital.

A second man, aged 18, self-presented at hospital with stab injuries.

Both men remain in hospital in a stable condition.

At around 7pm, officers were called to University Hospital to reports of disorder.




An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Two other men aged 19 and 20 were arrested on suspicion of affray and remain in police custody.


They will also be questioned about the disorder on Honeysuckle Drive.

Det Insp Rachael Allen from the Major Crime Team, said: “We’re urgently trying to establish what took place yesterday and why.

“If you witnessed the incident on Honeysuckle Drive or have any information, I would urge you to get in touch with us as soon as possible.

“There will be increased patrols in the area today to offer reassurance to the community.”
