THREE people have been arrested as part of a police crackdown against off-road bikes in Coventry.
Officers acted on intelligence to undertake targeted activity around grassland and canal towpaths in Wood End, Henley, Foleshill and Coundon.
The action led to seven off-road bikes being seized and three people being arrested for theft of a motor vehicle.
Five riders were also reported for various traffic offences last Sunday and a stolen van was recovered.
Extra resources are in Coventry today as part of Operation Advance and officers will be running regular activity against illegal off-road bikes.
