DRIVERS in Coventry are being warned about the closure of a main road after a multiple vehicle collision.
Police have shut the A45 in both directions between the two A46 junctions.
There are delays of 45 minutes on approach to the southbound closure, with 10 minutes on the northbound.
Motorists are being urged to find alternative routes and diversions have been put in place by National Highways.
They are as follows –
Eastbound
Road users travelling eastbound on the A45 should follow the solid square diversion symbol and exit the A45 and take the first exit onto the A444.
Continue on the A444 until the roundabout with the A4802. Then, continue on the A4802 until the junction with B4110.
Turn onto the B4110 to re-join the A45 at Tollbar End.
Westbound
Road users travelling westbound on the A45 should follow the solid circle diversion symbol
Follow the above diversion in reverse
