Tributes have been made to a mother who died in Coventry

TRIBUTES have been paid to a mother who died in Coventry last Wednesday (March, 20).

Pauline Sweeney who her family said ‘was the life and soul of every room she walked into’ was found with serious stab wounds at a house in Long Close Avenue and died shortly after.

Pauline’s partner – William Brady, aged 57, has been charged with murder and remanded into custody.

Brady is due to appear before Crown Court on May 9.

In a statement, Pauline’s family said: “Pauline Sweeney was our mother.

“She was a strong woman who wouldn’t let anything bring her down.




“We’ll remember her with a tear in our eye and love in our hearts.

“Rest in peace.


“Love from your seven children.”
