Two women sexually assaulted in same Coventry park

TWO women have been sexually assaulted in separate incidents in Coventry in the last week.

Just before 1am yesterday morning (January 27), a man approached an 18-year-old woman near the entrance of Swanswell Park and Pool, near White Street and Primrose Hill Street and sexually assaulted her.

The woman’s friend heard her call and approached the man who made off in the direction of Stoney Stanton Road.

At around 12.40am on Sunday, January 21, an 18-year-old woman was approached from behind by a man in the same park and sexually assaulted.

The woman fought back and the man ran off.




The man has been described as between 5ft 4in and 5t 9in tall, of slim build and aged between 20 and 30 years old.
