A PROLIFIC shoplifter has been sentenced to three months behind bars after stealing three times in two days.
Kyle Cigleris targeted a store in Upper Well Street on October 27, despite already being barred from entering after a previous shop theft conviction.
He then stole from another shop in Walsgrave Road the following day – once in the morning and then again in the evening.
Following prompt enquiries, officers from St Michael’s neighbourhood team arrested Cigleris on October 29 and found him in possession of cannabis.
The 26-year-old, of Radford Road, pleaded guilty to three counts of shop theft, possession of cannabis and breaching a restraining order at Coventry Magistrates Court.
Cigleris was sentenced to three months imprisonment last Wednesday (October 30).
