Coventry property prices have skyrocketed in last decade, study reveals

Coventry Editorial 29th Oct, 2023   0

THE PRICE of buying a property in Coventry has skyrocketed over the past ten years, according to new research.

A study by Swift Direct Blinds has revealed the price of properties in the city has increased by 72.91 per cent since 2013- the fifth-highest rise of any UK area.

This information was gathered as part of the firm’s ‘UK Property Index’ which aims to reveal the most desirable places in the country to live.

It also looks into the areas with the highest mid-year house prices and those with the fewest properties for sale on Rightmove.

Manchester had the highest increase in property prices over the past ten years, with Leicester, Bristol and Sandwell all having higher price spikes.

Birmingham, Leeds, Cardiff Glasgow and Wigan make up the rest of the top ten.
