THE GIFT of giving is alive and well at one Coventry pub which is encouraging its patrons to spare a thought for sick children this Christmas.
As the countdown to the festive season gets well and truly underway, The Maudslay Pub on the Allesley Old Road is asking its customers to get in the spirit with its Christmas Giving Tree.
Guests are invited to take one of the gift labels off the tree, marked for a boy or girl, and return it with a gift attached.
The gifts will then be delivered to the children’s ward at University Hospital (UHCW) in time for Christmas.
