Coventry rail services suspended after person hit by train

TRAINS between Coventry and Rugby have been halted this morning (Thursday September 5) after someone was hit by a train.

National Rail said some trains will be diverted via an alternative route where possible, but would not call at Birmingham New Street or Coventry. Buses will operate to and from Coventry.

No information about the person hit by the train has yet been released to the public.
