TWO SISTERS from Coventry have made it through to the Miss Teen Great Britain pageant.
Bailey and Millie Greenway, who live in Longford and attend Coventry’s Blue Coat School, will take part in the finals at The Globe, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, from October 22 to 25.
Bailey, 17, representing the West Midlands in the Miss Teen category, is currently studying A levels in psychology, sociology and religion, philosophy and ethics. She has also been accepted to apply to go to Cambridge University as an early admission.
Millie, 13, representing Coventry in the Little Miss category, has been a vegetarian for four years and loves animals.
Since reaching the semi-finals 18 months ago, the girls have been working hard, raising £750 for Together For Short Lives which helps families caring for a seriously ill child make the most of every moment together.
The pair have also supported other charities and also recently organised a bake sale at their local care home which the residents enjoyed.
Mum Nichola said: “I am so proud of both of my daughters and their enthusiasm to help others.
“Bailey applied first and over the past 18 months, buying dresses and organising events, Millie also became interested.
“When I read up on it we found she could apply as well – I thought it would be good to boost her confidence and couldn’t believe it when they both got through to the finals.”
