Coventry Sports Foundation announce packed Easter schedule to keep youngsters active

Coventry Editorial 9th Apr, 2017   0

A RANGE of activities will take place at Coventry Sports Foundation this Easter to make sure youngsters remain active during the holiday season.

The Easter break will be filled with action-packed events until Friday, April 21, at the foundation’s three venues – the Alan Higgs Centre, Centre AT7, and the Xcel Leisure Centre.

Excluding Good Friday and Easter Monday, holiday activities will take place each day of the break with sports including gymnastics, dodgeball, trampolining, archery and more taking place.

The three centres will run school holiday events for five to 11-year-olds between 9am and 3pm.

All children need to be suitably dressed for all of the activities, and have plenty of drinks and a packed lunch for all day sessions.

Wendy Jackson, community development manager at Coventry Sports Foundation, said the Easter break sessions were filled with fun to keep youngsters entertained.

She added: “Coventry Sports Foundation’s holiday activities are a fun and easy way to keep youngsters entertained during the school break.

“Our holiday events are a fantastic way to beat the boredom and also keep children active over the two-week period.”

No jewellery is allowed to be worn while taking part in activities.
