THE FOURTH rendition of the Coventry-based Nativity film franchise will premiere in the city.
The kids from St Bernadette’s Primary School are back featuring in the new movie, Nativity Rocks!, as the staff and students audition for a coveted place in a spectacular rock musical competition.
With the unique feel-good charm of the original film, Celia Imrie reprises her rose as headmistress, Mrs Keen, starring alongside Meera Syall, Ruth Jones, Anna Chancellor, Hugh Dennis and Helen George.
The film also introduces Simon Lipkin as Jerry Poppy and Strictly Come Dancing’s Craig Revel Horwood as the ruthless show director Emmanuel Cavendish.
The heart-warming British comedy film Nativity first came onto screens in 2009, starring Martin Freeman.
It depicted the local rivalry between St Bernadette’s School and Oakmoor School to see which could perform the best nativity production.
The UK premiere will take place on Monday, November 19 at Odeon Skydome, Coventry and will be attended by starts Lipkin and Revel Horwood.
The movie will be released in cinemas on November 23.
