COVENTRY’S Turtle Bay has been named Overall Best Bar None winners at an award ceremony recognising commitment to high standards in hospitality.
11 venues across the city were presented with Best Bar None accreditation for 2024 – an accredited scheme supported by the Home Office and the drinks industry which aims to improve standards in licensed premises.
Gold standard is delivered by Coventry Business Improvement District (BID) and Coventry City Council.
The venues recognised at the ceremony at Drapers Hall include Club Heat, Turtle Bay, The Red Lion, The Flying Standard (J D Wetherspoon), The Four Provinces, The City Arms (J D Wetherspoon), hmv Empire, The Yard, The Spon Gate (J D Wetherspoon), Mr Shenanigans and The Earl of Mercia (J D Wetherspoon).
Coventry BID Manager Joanne Glover: “The awards ceremony at Drapers Hall marked the culmination of months of hard work from venues in the city to achieve what really is the gold standard in health, safety, safeguarding and wellbeing.
