AN 18-year-old Coventry woman was arrested yesterday (Tuesday 18 July) on suspicion of terrorism offences.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism.
She is being questioned by West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit at a police station in the West Midlands, the force said.
It added: “The arrest was pre-planned and intelligence-led; there was no risk to the public.”
