THE COVENTRY woman who became the person in the World to receive a Covid vaccine outside of trials joined a city coach firm’s first holiday since lockdown yesterday.
It came as the latest restrictions were eased as part of the Government’s roadmap.
Margaret Keenan, who was part of Harry Shaw’s excursion for a trip to the coast, has previously praised the ‘incredible’ NHS for protecting millions against the virus.
And the 91-year-old, who made history in December, has urged everyone to make sure they get their second dose when called..
As she was joined by her daughter Sue and son-in-law David for the coach trip, she said: “We are looking forward to a few days by the sea – thanks to everyone including our wonderful NHS and all at Harry Shaw for making it possible.“
