Coventry's biggest skateboarding event in two years is on its way

THE FIRST big skateboarding event to be held in Coventry in almost two years will take place at The Box, FarGo Village, next Sunday, October 10.

A 420sq metre pop-up skate park with half-pipe and obstacles will be available for boarders to take to between 11am and 6pm.

Prizes – provided by local businesses are up for grabs in a game of S.K.A.T.E.

Until 9pm, there will be a line-up of local artists from Ray Sessions Studios.

Admission to the skate park is free but numbers are limited.

Boarders should bring ID and legal disclaimers need to be signed on entry with an over 18 parent or guardian for younger participants.

Project Number 5 – the organisers of ‘Ramp Up Coventry’ – thanked FarGo Village, The Ramp Supply Co, and sponsors Tech Merch and Just Dropped In Records for making the event possible.
