Coventrys FarGo Village goes green with new furniture

Coventry Editorial 28th Aug, 2022   0

FARGO Village will be introducing recycled plastic furniture as part of its commitment to becoming more sustainable.

The group contacted British Recycled Plastic, which specialises in sustainable outdoor furniture, and arranged to have 12 bright recycled plastic benches added to its outdoor area.

As well as being more sustainable, recycled plastic also reduces the cost, and FarGo’s property and maintenance manager Adam Gudgeon said it could use the extra cash to improve the village in other areas.

“The team were looking to increase the site’s sustainability while reducing its overall maintenance requirements.

“We needed some colour in some spaces, and the tables really brighten the place up.

“It’s definitely on our agenda to improve sustainability on site, so anything that allows us to make steps in the right direction is good.”
