OVER £100,000 is being invested into Coventry’s Park Bistro to expand the business.
The expansion at the war memorial park bistro will create space for 18 more covers inside and will add further outdoor seating.
The venue launched last June when it opened alongside a new ice cream kiosk and No Ordinary Hospitality Management’s second Sundae Club.
Work on the expansion is under way and the venue will fully open on Monday, July 17.
The park bistro will only close for just one day during the extension works.
The council’s deputy leader, Coun Abdul Salam Khan said: “The War Memorial Park is a special venue that appeals to a wide diversity of people from all ages and backgrounds.
“The park is a really popular venue and I’m really pleased The Park Bistro is operating successfully. It adds to the mix of facilities on offer at the park.”
