THE COVENTRY Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (CRASAC) members showed their support for a new help point for women who have suffered rape in Warsaw.
The help point, launched by feminist organisation Feminoteka, invited CRASAC members to speak at its launch last week.
The first of its kind in Poland, the service will provide tailored care to women who have been raped or sexually abused.
It includes medical assistance, evidence collection services, legal advice, counselling and emotional support.
CRASAC has been sharing its knowledge with the team at Feminoteka, showing the methods the Coventry centre uses to develop the Warsaw help points based on models it uses to support sexual abuse victims.
