Customers warned about Coventry bank's temporary closure

Coventry Editorial 13th Jul, 2024   0

A BRANCH of HSBC in Coventry has closed to undergo a revamp.

The counter in Cheylesmore is expected to re-open on July 26 after the refresh, which included interior building work.

Philip Rixon, HSBC UK’s local director, said: “We continue to invest in our branch network to make our customers’ experience banking with us a good one.

“We are pleased that our Cheylesmore branch is getting a refresh, with some painting, new signage and the installation of new state-of-the-art cash machines, which we are excited about.”

Staff have spoken to customers about the temporary closure for the past month and they have been reminded that they could use their nearest Post Office for day-to-day transactions.

Mobile and online banking is available 24/7 in addition to being able to the call contact centre.

Customers can also continue to use any of our branches with Cathedral Lanes being the closest branch.
