Day 10 - Could you rehome one of our 12 Dogs of Christmas?

Laura Kearns 21st Dec, 2017   0

Every day until Christmas Eve the Observer will feature one of the ’12 Dogs of Christmas’.

All of the pups are currently waiting for their forever home at the Dogs Trust in Kenilworth, and have been there for a long time or are struggling in kennels.

Boomer is a six-year-old Crossbreed who is a sweet but shy lad, looking for an adult-only home. He is keeping his paws crossed for a special someone who is willing to make several visits to the centre before taking him home. Once he gets to know you, Boomer loves playing and his fun-loving personality shines through. He will need a quiet, adult-only home and could potentially live with a female dog.

The Dogs Trust branch in Kenilworth will care for some 100 dogs over the festive period.

Rehoming centre manager Emma Healey said: “Our 12 dogs of Christmas each would make a wonderful addition to a new home and we are appealing for anyone who would like to rehome one of these deserving dogs to please get in touch.

“We continue to see many unwanted and abandoned dogs coming through our doors over the Christmas period, simply because people haven’t taken into consideration the lifelong commitment of dog ownership.”
