VETERINARIANS, canine specialists and dog trainers will head to Stoneleigh Park next month for the annual Kennel Club Accredited Instructors Scheme.

The weekend event, which takes place on Saturday (September 10) and Sunday (September 11), will provide budding dog workers with the chance to advance their skills and knowledge in a range of activities.

Dog walking, dog training, canine nutrition, dog health and welfare and first aid will all be covered throughout the two-day course.

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club secretary, said: “The event is one of a kind and provides an invaluable opportunity for those in the area who want to increase their canine knowledge.

“It’s also an ideal chance for those looking to change careers or enhance their current involvement with dogs to get involved.

“There are lectures and seminars as well as a chance to speak to experts one to one and an opportunity to network with other professionals in the dog world.”

Day tickets for the event are available for £85, weekend tickets cost £160.
