A NEW dedicated drift arena is set to be hosted at Coventry’s MotoFest when the festival returns this summer.
The Crewsade team will provide displays of competitive drifting in the new arena throughout the weekend alongside stunt performer and YouTuber one-wheel wavey.
The arena, which will be based at the coach park on White Street, will include major names in the drifting, stunt, competition or precision driving world including Al Harris, Julian Smith, Peden Nielsen and Monky London.
MotoFest Coventry Race Director, Darren Langeveld, said: “We are excited to announce our new live-action Drift Arena which, with its city centre location, high-octane atmosphere and thrill-a-minute programme is set to be one of the highlights of the festival weekend.
“MotoFest Coventry just keeps getting bigger, better and more varied each year and our new Drift Arena is another exciting addition to the festival programme.”
After last year’s event was cancelled following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, MotoFest will be returning on June 3 and 4.
