Driver caught in Coventry with 375 cannabis plant saplings in a car boot is jailed for eight months

A DRIVERĀ  who was found with 375 cannabis plant saplings in the bot of his car has been handed an eight-month prison sentence.

The plants (pictured) were found when Coventry City Centre Police officers conducted a drugs search of the vehicle in October.

West Midlands Police detectives interviewed him and he appeared in court last week.

The plants were also seized and have been destroyed.
