DRUG paraphernalia and used needles were found in a disused pub following a fire at the building yesterday.

Crews from Coventry and Foleshill Fire Stations attended the blaze yesterday afternoon at the building which was formerly The Hamptons Indian restaurant and the Butts Retreat pub.

It had been boarded up and is in a bad state of disrepair, including missing floorboards and other extensive damage.

Firefighters posted these pictures of the scene yesterday on Twitter.
