THERE will be eco-friendly Easter fun at Coventry’s Lower Precinct shopping centre from 11am to 3pm next Saturday, April 16
At two educational workshop stations in central Lower Precinct, children will be able to ‘grow their own sunflower’ and a ‘decorate a butterfly, bee or flower’, using all things recyclable.
It will also teach mini shoppers the benefits of protecting the environment.
The workshops are free for children to take part and booking is not required.
Visitors may also get to see recognisable bunny Peter Rabbit and Lower Precinct’s Cubs Club mascot – Lenny the Lion.
Children can sign up on the day to become a Cub Club member and will be able to redeem a free gift!
Lower Precinct Centre manager Nicola Cormell said: “We are very excited to be holding a sustainable and eco-friendly event for Easter this year, especially with conservation of our planet being more important than ever.”
