The brilliant kids of the Year 5 ‘Eliot Class’ at Park Hill Junior School are a credit to their teacher and school, families and community.
The class saw TV coverage of our Bring George Eliot Home campaign and are clearly highly motivated to make a difference. They have written to the Prime Minister, council leader, City of Culture Trust bosses and others.
It was clear during our visit to the Kenilworth school that they have individually formed strong views.
As the typically articulate Aleksa Whiting, aged 10, told us: “Preserving English heritage is paramount.”
We have little doubt that these inspiring children will indeed go on to make a difference.
