Elderly pedestrian seriously injured after Coventry motorbike hit-and-run

AN ELDERLY pedestrian remains seriously injured in hospital after a hit-and-run involving a motorbike in Coventry.

It happened in Daventry Road, Coventry, just before 12:30pm on Saturday (June 29).

A West Midlands Police spokesperson told us this morning that the pedestrian – a man believed to be in his 70s – is still in hospital receiving treatment.

A police statement from Saturday said the man had been taken to hospital with serious injuries.




Sergeant Lee Froggatt from the West Midlands Police Traffic Unit said: “We urgently need to find this bike and the person/people riding it.

“I’m also appealing to anyone who saw anything and hasn’t yet spoken to us to get in touch.”
